Drawing inspiration from being at the forefront of influencing retailers' range reviews, Spanner - The Space Planner is designed to be both simple and intuitive to use, as well as powerful and influential.

Spanner - The Space Planner can help you.
  • lead the development of the in-store fixture.
  • produce attractive, eye-catching impactful planograms (including mimic 3D).
  • Analyse and enhance planogram metrics and performance.
  • optimise the planogram assortment.

Spanner's features break down in to three key areas:
  • Core space planning functions.
  • Advanced space planning.
  • Neat stuff.

Core Space Planning Functions

There are some core functions that every good space planning application should be able to do. These aren't the special features, they're just the core. The entry point.

  • Creating planograms, bays, shelves, and products.
  • Adding products to shelves as positions.
  • The ability to change and edit these things.
  • Drag and drop (and keystroke) for positioning shelves and product positions.
  • Saving and updating product details to a product library (Excel spreadsheet) for re-use on another document.
  • Using product images.
  • Highlighting product positions based on coding and classifications.

Of course Spanner - The Space Planner has all of this......
.....but it also has much more.........
.....so much more!

Advanced Space Planning Functions
To really make a space planning application sing, there are some functions that help the user create and analyse great planograms.

  • Sales data interface - importing data from EPOS providers such as IRI or Nielsen.
  • Creating a PowerPoint Deck or PDF document of Planograms with position lists.
  • Inventory model and days sales cover.

Of course Spanner - The Space Planner has all of this........but it also has more........even more!

Highlight products by days cover based on the stock on shelf and the unit movement (rate of sale).

The Neat Stuff

For a really neat space planning tool, designed for impact, we need some cool user oriented tools.

  • Add point of sale – to ‘dress’ the fixture show how it could look.

  • Mimic 3D – add a little bit of perspective and shading on basic front-on images.

  • Image Edit: Whitespace to transparency; or Angle transform.

Point of sale header boards, aisle flags and shelf barkers.

Transform e-com ID shot boxes back to front-on planogram-style image.

Mimic 3D by perspective and shading on basic front-on images.

Click on a colour to clear (witin a set tollerance) surrounding space until a 'colour-boundary' is found. Transform e-com images in to planogram images.
